A renowned private college in Jalan Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a motivated and result-oriented Telemarketer to join our team. Gross revenue between RM3k - RM8k per month including commission. This position is ideal for candidates who have a background in telemarketing, sales, or other related fields. Minimum 1 year experience is required. The Telemarketer will play a vital role in reaching out to prospective students and promoting the college's programs through various telemarketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
The Telemarketer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through their work and building good relationships with customers. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other software applications.
Detailed job duties include:
The Telemarketer will be required to build relationships with customers and maintain a professional manner at all times.
The Telemarketer will need to be able to work to deadlines and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be required to provide written and verbal reports to the Marketing Manager and meet targets set by the company. The Telemarketer will also be required to provide feedback to the Manager regarding customer interactions.

- Contact prospective students through outbound calls, providing them with accurate and engaging information about the college and its academic programs.
- Handle inbound calls from interested individuals, answering their inquiries and guiding them through the enrollment process.
- Utilize persuasive communication skills to promote the college's offerings and convert leads into enrollments.
- Maintain accurate records of call activities, prospective student information, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams to develop targeted telemarketing strategies, improve lead generation, and increase enrollment rates.
- Continuously improve telemarketing scripts, techniques, and call-handling processes to optimize results.
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance telemarketing skills and product knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SPM; a diploma or degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year experience is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospective students.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections professionally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Must be a Malaysian citizen.
