Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team in Galway. The role of Graphic Designer is an essential part of a Brand & Retail Marketing team. Your main purpose will be to create visual elements that communicate the brand identity, values, and key messaging to the target audience.
The designer will bring well-rounded experience in design and production and be responsible for designing a wide variety of assets across traditional and digital media, along with creation/adaptation of packaging and retailer Point of Sale materials.
You will join a team of marketers and collaborate in bringing our brand and portfolio of super supplements to life across all platforms. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas along with adapting creative ideas created by external agencies. You will show excellent attention to detail as required with multiple packaging projects. You will need to possess a strong ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and work well as part of a growing team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Graphic Design
· Developing concepts and graphics for our products for multiple channels - print, packaging, advertising, web & digital, & NPD brand design
· Implementing brand guidelines and consistently design in accordance.
· Working with the marketing team and external agencies to produce engaging and effective campaigns across all channels.
· Create and assist with execution of marketing campaigns in collaboration with our marketing team and external agencies across multiple markets.
· Responsibility for updating packaging across multiple markets.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
· Contribution to website design projects working with marketing & development teams.
· Coordinating with marketing team, external agencies, creatives, printers, and team as necessary.
· Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
· Management of multiple projects and deadlines on a daily basis
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in graphic design or relevant field
- At minimum 3-5 years of graphic design experience including advertising, packaging, print and online.
- A strong understanding of the design and print process including print production, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe After Effects (desirable)
- Knowledge of UX/UI
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once whilst consistently adhering to tight deadlines.
- Good relationship skills particularly in working with print suppliers.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Knowledge and interest in health and beauty industry desirable
- Experience in developing creative POS materials a plus.
- Interest in video and photography a plus
